Final show week, 7th - 10th June 2021

Monday 7th: In these days leading up to the show there wasn't really much to do but I did get the two drinks signs done and tacked onto the bars. I think they look good although some of the writing could of benefited from being a bit bigger.

Tuesday 8th: Online work, finished all written work and updated the website a bit more.

Wednesday 9th: I spent most of the day trying to get the theatre to smell like a pub, I did this by soaking some fabric with beer and taping it under each table, I also sprinkled some all over the floor, mainly focusing on the area by the door so that the smell would be the first thing to hit you. I sat in every seat to see if you could see the fabric from different positions and the adjusted accordingly, I also used black tape to hide the fabric a bit more. After doing that I fixed the chains to the pub sign and had someone put that up while I worked on some roses that you put in the button hole on a suit for the level 1 show next week and a tepee that my teacher had requested which I think is going to be used in a show by kids in September. I also got a bunch of stuff out of the garage for next weeks show.

Thursday 10th: This was show day, I added a few more bits of fabric with beer on them under the tables like I had done the day before, and I put a couple of bits in front of a fan to really make sure the smell was present, which I think it was because I could smell it through my mask. I think everything looked good and the show went well, the only problem I had was that one of the wads of fabric came off from under the table during the performance but I don't think it was very noticeable, after the first show was finished I simply took it away instead of trying to tape it back on as it could of just fallen off again.

Target: Make sure everything is ready for the level 1 show next week.
