Half term week, 3rd - 4th June 2021

Thursday 3rd: We had to get all of the set out and put it in the right places, then the bar had to be put together which I let someone else do while I was painting, I got the jukebox finished, I painted the front which I think looks okay but I'm not entirely sure if I like it or not.

Friday 4th: The foam finally arrived so I cut out the last bits, put the silver tape on them and then glued them onto the jukebox meaning it was completely done. Once we all looked at the set the way it was we decided it would be good to have a drinks and food sign on the bar so it looked a little less bare so I cut some wood with a hand saw so it was quiet while they were rehearsing, then I painted them black and glued some gold beading around the edges so they would stand out a bit compared to the black bar. I also screwed together the frame to hold up the sign, I did bring a metal bracket I had bent at home that would be able to hook over the door in case we couldn't drill into the wall but I under up not needing it. I tried to cut the chain that would hold up the sign but the tools we have aren't good enough so I was told that it would have to be taken to engineering to be cut.

Target: Get the drinks and food sign finished.
