Show week: 7th - 10th December 2020

-Monday 7th: We put the tree up, and finished any props that were needed for the show, such as the snowman, which needed the middle part of its body being finished.

-Tuesday 8th: We started by decorating the tree and putting the lights on it, after that there were the two rehearsals for the show. The first went well and didn't have many issues, I made and put the arms on the snowman in time for the second rehearsal which ended up getting broken during the dance so they had to be fixed, the nose had also come lose so that had to be fixed as well. I used some wire and a glue gun which worked well, the wire acted as an anchor between the mod rock body and the arms.

-Wednesday 9th: I spent most of the day doing some sewing, helping to make some mask bags which will be sold as part of our charity work. I was mostly zigzag stitching the edges so they were ready to sew into the bags, I also finished some of the partly done ones by sewing the chanel that the ribbon would go through. Towards the end of the day I helped another student with the creating a costume task as they were not in when we originally did it. For the task we had to find appropriate outfits for; a wealthy business man, Aladdin and a pantomime dame. After that I helped to unpick some straps of some skirts.

-Thursday 10th: I got stuck in traffic on the day of the show but I luckily got there right as the rehearsal was about to start so it was fine. The rehearsal went well but the snowman's arms got damaged again so I had to fix that quickly for the actual show. My job on the show was putting a pillow and blanket on stage, taking them back of again and the moving the snowman's middle body piece on stage at in the last dance. I think I could of been a bit quicker but I don't think I did a bad job.

-Target: My target is to become a bit quicker at moving things on and off stage and to try and be more calm.

Update on my dragon - I'm really liking how the head looks, I've made the wing mechanism and chosen a fabric to go over the wings. I think it should be done soon, just need to attach the wings and sculpt the body.
