Silence in the wings: Week 4, 2nd - 4th February 2021

Tuesday 2nd: updating our websites and blog again.

Wednesday 3rd: we started the day with quickly editing our websites, specifically the audacity parts so that they had better descriptions to them. After that we were given a couple of tasks to choose from to complete, I chose the costume task which was to take an old piece of clothing or some old fabric and turn it into something new, or change the style of it. For this task I used and old leather jacket and flannel shirt as the main parts, and then added other things like safety pins, a chain and some fringe. I tried yo go for a punk look, which I think I somewhat achieved. If I was to do it again I would actually stitch the flannel and fringe on instead of using the pins, I would also add more metal parts like some spikes or enamel pins and patches so that it would have a very distinct look.

Thursday 4th: we had another drama lesson in which we did some more guess who and speech stuff which was fun, after that we did some written work and then had a meeting about the set design for silence in the wings. In the meeting we discussed things like the set on stage and how some things would work and some things wouldn't, also about the backstage to. After the talk I changed my set design a little bit to fit with what we talked about.
