Silence in the wings: Week 6, 2nd - 4th March 2021

Tuesday 2nd: I updated my website again and did my blog. I've put a bunch more pictures in the personal projects page to further show my skill and ability to use different materials.

Wednesday 3rd: We were told about a makeup competition, which I chose to take part in. The theme was theatrical makeup so I chose to do a simple but effective clown makeup as it would be easy enough to do in the time given but still look good. I like what I did but I think it would have looked a lot better if I had more time, I would of painted more of an outfit on to complete the look but I also would of added darker lines to the wrinkles and a pair of lashes to make my eyes stand out a bit more. I could of also done with styling the hair a bit but I couldn't do that in the time frame. I think it looks good over all though.

Thursday 4th: In the morning drama lesson we all had to do our monologs, I didn't have mine ready because I was busy the week before and didn't know we needed them for today, I was impressed with listening to everyone else as they were all good with getting the emotion across. After that a couple other students and I had to do our presentations, I think mine went fairly well but I didn't quite get all my words out properly and I had some technical issues but it went okay. Then we were told to do our project proposals for unit 8 but I didn't do it yet as I don't know what the show I'm working on is, but I will do it when I find out.

Target: To get my monolog ready for next week.

On a side note this was the first week of our fundraising for Mid Kent Mind, I chose to do sit ups and I am currently on track, if I keep up the average amount I do a week then I will definitely hit the 1000 goal by the end of the month. I am also happy to see we have already gone passed our goal of £500, hopefully we can get even more.
