Silence in the wings: Week 7, 9th - 11th March 2021

Tuesday 9th: We updated websites again and after that we had a talk with a man from Mid Kent Mind which is the charity we are raising money for currently, he basically told us what their charity does and how they work, he also thanked us for the fund raising.

Wednesday 10th: This was the first day being physically back in college since the lockdown, which was a little weird but I liked seeing everyone again. To start the day I found out I had come join first in the makeup competition from last week and won a little goodie bag of Kryolan stuff which was nice. We were filming all day, my parts didn't seem to difficult do as I just had to answer a couple of questions and be in the background of some shots. I had to be filmed making a cage for the rats and standing near the props table which was easy enough although I didn't like being on camera that much. I was already nervous about being around everyone again but it all ended up being fine and people were being respectful which is nice, I did spend most of the day in the art room away from people though.

Thursday 11th: We spent most of the drama lesson just talking about how people felt being back in college the day before, and after that we did some games like guess who and some people attempted to try different accents which was amusing. For the rest of the day we just did some written work and prepared some stuff for the shows we will be working on.

Target: To get more comfortable with being back in college and learn my monolog more.
