Tuesday 4th: Updating website and doing some written work.
Wednesday 5th: Spent most of the day finishing up the painted bit of the sign, decided to forget about doing raised lettering because I didn't want the have to wait for the foam as I've already spent a while on it now. I would have preferred to have the letters raised as I think it would have looked better but I think it was a good choice to move on to working on something else, because although there isn't a load of stuff to do, the things that have to be done are fairly big jobs. I had to adjust the writing on the sign because I was told the pub doesn't serve food so I had to take that bit of, I also still need to sand the edges of the sign and paint over the foam but that won't take very long.
Thursday 6th: Got the taller bar out and had it painted black while I took all the spiders out of it, the shorter bar still needs to be taken up to match the height and a piece of woos cut out to connect the two but that can be done soon, probably after the grease show because that will clear space in the workshop. In the afternoon I started working on the jukebox, I got the wood out and sketched out the design of the front panel, I did think about adjusting the size because it seemed like it would be to big but after asking my teacher I decided to stick with the original size. I only had time to cut out the front piece so I will have to cut out the other bits next week, although I'm sticking with the original height and width I might make the depth a little bit thinner because it doesn't have to actually work and doing that will save materials as well.
Target: Get the main structure of the jukebox made, figure out a way to do the curved top.
