Week 5: 6th - 8th October 2020

-Tuesday 6th: We continued on with work on our websites. I think mine is coming along quite nicely but still needs work.

-Wednesday 7th: We started the day with sewing, I got to finish the apron I previously started but I unfortunately didn't get to dye it as the collage didn't have the colour that I wanted but that's okay because I can just paint it, although I will have to come up with a design I like. After sewing we had a live sound workshop in which we learned how to properly plug in and control the speakers and also the sound board. We also briefly went over the difference between dynamic and condenser microphones.

-Thursday 8th: The day started with more Alice work, which I have most of it done now I just need to finish writing up my research and add a couple pictures for reference. For the rest of the day we were doing practical, I was helping the new girl with some makeup she needed to catch up on and then I started working with some EVA foam, I started to make a bracer but didn't have time to finish so I wanted to continue at home. Being honest, I forgot about it but I have had a little practise with foam before so it shouldn't be to hard to master.

-Target: This weeks target is to fully complete my apron and possibly finish my foam bracer.

I feel like I'm starting to achieve last weeks target as I've had a play around with audacity but I don't think I quite have the hang of it yet. I seemed to be okay with directly recording sound and playing with it but when I uploaded the sounds we recorded in class it seems a little more difficult to make them sound the way I want them to sound.
