Week 7: 3rd - 5th November 2020

-Tuesday 3rd: In the first online lesson we continued with our websites, for the second lesson we were given a task to design can plan a prop dragon for the show Wicked.

-Wednesday 4th: We had to continue with the wicked task and come up with proper designs and a scale. After all the panning was complete we started to make the scaled down versions of our dragon designs, I struggled with this slightly as I couldn't quite do what I wanted with the materials I had. I decided to start with the head for this project, which I tried to sculpt with some air drying clay that was available, however the clay was not what I was used to and didn't work for the kind of thing I wanted. After that attempt I decided it might be best to used my own materials at home, which would be polymer clay and wood.

-Thursday 5th: We continued with Alice work and focused on the staging as that is the last thing left to do with that, I had a rough idea of the kind of set that would fit best with the theme but actually scaling it was a little difficult but not too bad.

-Target: My target for this week is to get better at scaling. Plus maybe a little bit faster at sculpting.

I still haven't dyed my apron or finished the bracer but I do think I have become a little bit quicker at making props so I'm close to getting last weeks target.
